Coaches vs. Cancer Classic

The Coaches vs. Cancer Classic is one of the most prestigious early-season college basketball tournaments. Twelve teams compete in the event each year, with four of them competing in a Championship Round at Brooklyn, NY’s new sports and entertainment venue, the Barclay’s Center. The remainder of the field will participate in a round-robin series at one of two sub-host sites.

Tickets for the Championship Round games at the Barclays Center may be purchased by visiting www.cvcclassic.com or www.barclayscenter.com. Proceeds benefit the American Cancer Society. On Friday, November 16th at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NY, Brigham Young will take on Florida State at 7:00pm ET, followed immediately by Notre Dame and Saint Joseph’s. On Saturday, November 17th, the Consolation Game will tip off at 7:00pm ET, followed by the 2012 Coaches vs. Cancer Classic Championship Game. All four games will be televised live on truTV, a part of the Turner Broadcasting System.
